It's a cocoa and bread day

This morning was so windy again but we managed to get over to Hukilau Cafe for breakfast. I had the sweet bread french toast and hot chocolate. It's Wendy's birthday today so of course the girls gathered one last time for the year to enjoy our breakfast birthday ritual. It was nice! I've also been in and out of my office most of the day. Its been crazy trying to box up a few things as my last day at PCC is fast approaching. I can't believe it. So exciting. On another unfortunate note, I just had a haagen daz chocolate almond bar again. This would be the 3rd this week. I'm really losing it. I'll probably go for a walk in an hour. Walking today will really be a workout because the wind is pretty nuts outside-hurricane already. So nothing much going on on the loop today. Just chillin in little ole' Laie keeping warm. It's cold for Hawaii, about 69 degrees. burrrr.... ha, ha, ha...

Alright I better go. Have a great day!

CRAZY!!!!

Okay so im so late in posting a blog. In fact I skipped an entire month. So much has been going on. I'm so tired. I've had a crazy, heavy, sad, grateful week full of love. I know thats a pretty scattered description of my life this past week but it has truly been exactly that. It's a beautiful week in Hawaii. It's breezy, cool and sunny. I'm excited to start my new job and it seems like January is too far away. I've got a birthday coming up. December babies are indeed the neatest people. I think everyone else thinks that too. I miss my friends in Utah. I hope they call me soon it's been awhile. Anyway, I have alot to be grateful for. The loop is pretty quiet and mild these days. It's good like that.
Good night.

Halloween Eve

So it's just about to hit midnight and I'm still running around the house searching for a costume to parade in throughout the day tomorrow. Of course I can't wear the same costume twice but within the last tem minutes I have seriously considered it. I know, I'll get over it. I'll probably be one of the Oznians from Wicked. That's what I was two years ago. Oh well..... Anyway, the latest is that my dear friend Cheryl Goo and her husband moved back from California yesterday. I'm so glad to have her home. Our annual Halloween block party is ready to go tomorrow. The priesthood put up the EZ corners and the show is on. The couple have their lip sync number ready. The potluck assignments went out last week, the DJ is setting up at 4pm and we will be dancing our hearts away while the maori bread is baking. Our weather has been pretty breezy and nippy. Nippy for Hawaii that is, which really is about mid 70's. My sister in law is baking in the kitchen. My nephew has a class party tomorrow and a costume contest at Laie Elementary School. I can smell that yummy stuff baking in the oven. Life is great in Laie. I have alot to be grateful for. I've enjoyed riding my bike against the wind, talk about workout! Well that's all for now, I better get to bed I've got to be in Honolulu in the morning. Nighty night.

ANOTHER EXCITING FRIDAY NIGHT ON THE LOOP

It was Midnight Madness for BYU-HC Men's Basketball team and if you don't know, my very good friend is the women's bball head coach for byuh. In complete support of their program I went to see what all the fuss was about. It was quite entertaining. Its an event to celebrate the Men's basketball team and get everyone pumped up for the season. It was fun. However, on another more exciting note... Guess what i saw at the Laie theater? Elizabeth-the Golden Age. Wow! What a film. Cate Blanchett is truly a diva. I'm realizing that we have several things in common, Cate and I. ha, ha, ha. Anyway, if you haven't seen this film, I strongly recommend it to all you movie goers. You see I'm not much of a movie goer and so this is big for me to actually like a movie. Im sure you'll all be impressed as well. BTW I think I'm gonna do something Elizabeth-ish for Halloween cuz I'm diva too.

Well, hope everyone is having a good weekend as we speak. Until next time, au revoir!

ALOOOOOHA!

Right now, I'm experiencing some interesting emotions. I feel ecstatic, a little proud and somewhat sassy knowing that I've joined this prestigious site, the Blog. Wow, can you believe it Erin? I came to the inevitable realization that had I not resorted to join the Blogging madness, I would have had to forget about keeping in touch with you Summerrill Surfers. Apparently, the only way you might be able to connect with the SS gang is to get on this Bloggin thing. So, tadah! I'm here, I've succumbed to the craze. I'm excited and hope to improve my Bloggin skills soon. So, to all you Bloggin veterans, watch out here I come...ha ,ha, ha, more like watch out for me, here I come to ask for help.

Okee dokee, signing off.

Aloha
